    Microsoft introduced new feature named Native VHD (virtual hard disk) Boot in Windows 7. With this feature, users can boot Windows 7 from VHD drive even on non-virtual hardware. Native VHD boot feature allows users to deploy Windows 7 image (.wim) to VHD then copy .vhd file to other systems.

    Windows 7 provides a way to run those programs that were only compatible with Windows XP by setting up Windows XP mode. This Win7 feature enables you to run virtual version of Windows XP in which XP supported-applications run.
